HOLLANDS CROSSING BOARD OF DIRECTORS
 

The Board of Directors are members of the community who are elected to their positions for a three-year term to serve and provide direction for the community, maintain a budget, and decide how to improve or upgrade common property. The board strives to be as responsive to the community needs as possible, while taking into account the experience and professional best know that the various board members bring to the board - as well as consideration for limitations imposed upon the board by the articles of incorporation and the bylaws. 
 

Board meetings are held four times annually, usually towards the middle of the fiscal quarter (Aug, Nov, Feb, May). All members of the community are encouraged to appear in person for the annual meetings if they wish to bring business before the board. If you have business before the board, or wish to bring forth a motion for the board to consider, please  contact the board president as early as possible so that your motion or topic for discussion can be placed on the formal meeting agenda.
 

When bringing business before the board, as mentioned above, there will be an effort to place motions or topics of discussion from the community near the top of the agenda - given sufficient notice - such that those wishing to address the board need not stay for the entire meeting. Please note that the board meetings are open to discussion from the audience only during those portions which are declared open on the agenda, and unless board members specifically address anyone in attendance or elicit questions from any audience, people interjecting or imposing their views out of turn will be ruled out of order€¯ and asked to leave if deemed sufficiently disruptive to the board meeting process.
 

If any member of the community feels they have not been granted adequate time for consideration, they may contact the board afterwords and request a special session for consideration of their motion or topic. Again, the board strives to be responsive to the needs of the community, and all reasonable requests will be considered, provided the issue has not already been beaten to death.
